Belinda Sydney2 225x300 Exploring Sydney Harbor Tracks With The Kid Comfort IIWe’ve recently moved back to Australia, and there were many hard decisions about what to bring and what not to bring. Our Kid Comfort II was definitely at the top of the “essentials” list. Daylight savings ended this weekend, and we decided to make the most of our last long sunny afternoon, taking a hike along the north side of Sydney Harbour. Just beyond Taronga Zoo here in Sydney there are a myriad of trails that allow spectacular harbour views. Other than admiring the water, we were delighted to see some lizards, spiders, a kookaburra and even a snake!

The tracks in Sydney have narrowed of recent times due to all the rain: the overgrowth of green was a source of delight to Nate in the Kid Comfort. Thankfully his head height matches mine while I’m carrying him, so avoiding branches and foliage is easy work. The sun & rain cover is also useful in batting away branches.

Later this month we are off to Tasmania, an island between mainland Australia and Antarctica. Our Kid Comfort II is again top of the packing list, along with some warm clothing. We’ve been spoiled with sunny Sydney weather, but we know that we can’t take this to Tasmania!
