Aimee & Mike Eaton

About Aimee & Mike Eaton

Mike, Aimee and 1-year-old George (aka Gus) Eaton are spending the year traveling across the U.S. and fishing for every game species that can be caught on a fly rod while maintaining jobs and sanity. They're sharing their adventure through social and conventional media, working to show parents that adventure doesn't end when you start a family. When not on the road, the Eaton family lives in Crested Butte, Colorado, where they fly fish, backcountry ski tour, mountain bike, hike and do their best to spend more time outdoors. They use a Deuter Kid Comfort daily in all weather and all conditions and are looking forward to the day when Gus has his own pack. Mike works full-time as an enrolled actuary, and Aimee is a writer who regularly publishes in national outdoor media.

Amelia Mayer & Family

Amelia Mayer & Family

About Amelia Mayer & Family

Amelia Mayer and her husband firmly believe in an outdoor upbringing for their four young kids (#5 joining them at the end of the summer!), however simple or "extreme" that may be. Their goal is that their kids continue to think a normal life involves consistent and varying outdoor adventures. They reside in Yellowstone National Park and are happiest hiking, biking, camping, boating, skiing or exploring. Amelia writes at Tales of a Mountain Mama in an attempt to inspire other families to get out as much as possible, despite the extra challenges that young kids sometimes provide. They also publish many gear reviews, mostly because great gear can make or break an outdoor day. You can find the Mayer family and the active adventure family community they have worked hard to build on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.

Kristin and Jason

Ambassador Type: Outdoor
Kristin and Jason

About Kristin and Jason

Kristin and Jason grew up in Colorado and Tennessee, respectively. Kristin spent the majority of her childhood in the outdoors backpacking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Jason developed a love for the mountains after yearly trips to Colorado to visit his grandfather. They met in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and the lure of the big mountains and vast wilderness brought them north to Alaska where they currently reside. They split their time between McCarthy, an end-of-the-road town, and the more "populated" ski town of Girdwood. Both work as guides for Mountain Trip leading tours up Denali in the Alaska Range, and for St. Elias Alpine Guides in the Wrangell-St. Elias mountains. Both are continuing their education to become fully certified AMGA guides. When not guiding they can be found taking every opportunity to explore the mountains and rivers of the Alaskan backcountry—skiing, mountaineering and packrafting. They also love getting to spend time rock climbing and road tripping around the lower 48 in their converted camper van.

Laura Lisowski

Ambassador Type: Outdoor
Laura Lisowski

About Laura Lisowski

Laura isn’t a traditional outdoor enthusiast like you read about in magazines. A 2009 University of Notre Dame graduate originally from Seattle, Washington, she works as a global sales executive in the financial world by day. Evenings and weekends, she’s a mountain dweller and outdoor warrior. Laura re-ignited her love for the outdoors when she moved to sunny, adventure-filled California in 2009. She spent five years living and working in San Francisco, trekking in every West Coast National park she could find. In early 2016, she accepted an opportunity to spend some time in her company’s London office. Now in the UK, Laura recently, she started The365Adventure snapchat channel, a channel taken over by one adventurer a day, 365 days a year. The purpose is to allow curious individuals to share their stories, discover, and inspire/get inspired by fellow enthusiasts. When not in the office or coordinating social media efforts, Laura can be found on a lake, scrambling up a mountain, or training for her next international marathon. Laura believes that the passion for the outdoors and ability to participate should not be restricted to hardcore enthusiasts, but should also be fully accessible and welcoming to the urban adventurer. It’s because of this that Laura is extremely passionate about connecting globally conscious adventurers and brands to one another through what they all have in common: love for the outdoors and the planet on which we live.

Pip Hunt

Ambassador Type: Outdoor
Pip Hunt

About Pip Hunt

Pip Hunt’s need to explore was instilled in her at a young age. As a young child, her adventurous parents immigrated to the US from Scotland and lived in an RV for the first year. They explored every mountain town in the west, eventually settling in Crested Butte, Colorado. Pip was raised on skis, of either the skinny or the alpine variety, and fell in love with the freedom—and sometimes the type II fun—that comes along with both sports. After competing in the Freeskiing World Tour, Pip began to learn the ropes of ski touring and slowly, ski mountaineering. She has traveled around the world in search of snow adventures, most notably in Japan, Chile, Iceland and Greenland. When she isn’t chasing winter, you can find Pip on her mountain bike, or pretending to be a mountain runner (a.k.a., a really ambitious walker).
